ABOUT US

Olgar Distillery was born in 2014 in a small place called Zomet Koah just South from Kiryat Shmona on a foothill of magnificent Naftaly Mountains. We started our journey with research and experiment to achieve a taste and the flavour that brings back subtle but immediately recognisable memories of our ancestral homes, sweet taste of a cherry that our grandmothers were covering with sugar to prepare liqueur for winter times, or apple aroma reminding of hot and joyful summers in the countryside. Our new home in the North of Israel is surrounded by beautiful orchards created by loving and hardworking people who came to the Land of Israel at different times from different corners of the world but with the same goal to make this place home. We set on a journey to try and share the fruits of this land with as many people as we can around the world and at the same time preserve our legacy.  

At Olgar Distillery we committed to use only product grown locally, with some rare exception. We do not buy alcohol as we use a distillation process to produce it from the fruits the same way our ancestors were doing it for centuries. We then create our liqueurs using our grandmothers recipes. We monitor the production process every step of the way to ensure you receive 100% natural product.
